Uncharted 3: Fortune Hunter gives your Home avatar a gun and dudes to shoot [Video]
Uncharted 3 is just weeks from being released. Sony is ramping up the promotions for Uncharted 3 with its Subway tie-in and through PlayStation Home. A new Home space has opened today with a mini-game that puts your avatar in combat against the murderous treasure hunters of the Uncharted universe. We’re going to show you exactly what happens when Home gives users a gun.
E3 2011: Free virtual items from PlayStation Home
The show floor opened up to E3 2011 attendees today. Among the horde of anxious and sweaty people are tons of unreleased games. It’s really hard to wrap your head around the number of playable titles there are during an E3 event. While everyone scrambles about in the convention center, Sony created a virtual version of its E3 floor space in PlayStation Home for everyone else. That space has also opened up to everyone and it contains some goodies for those who spend a little time there.
Analysis: 3D isn’t perfect but it can (and will) work
Recently, film critic Roger Ebert wrote about the failings of 3D and some of his opinions become fairly unpopular (remember when he took the line that games aren’t art?). The PlayStation Store updates early with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception content
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception was revealed a couple days ago. It was at that time we learned Drake will be traveling to the Middle East in search of a lost city. If that wasn’t enough, the PlayStation Store was updated today with new Uncharted 3 content and discounts on Uncharted 2 DLC.

During that time there were a lot of updates working up to November 1. However many users were experiencing problems updating their consoles, avatars and experiencing game freezes. Fear not, Microsoft has fixed the majority of those problems and are on the lookout for more.

Carmine is on the verge of living
The fate of Gears of War soldier Clayton Carmine is still lying in our hands. Last month Microsoft and Epic games started a charitable promotion that will inevitably determine whether or not Carmine dies in Gears of War 3. This promotion will continue until September 2, 2010. But if fans keep voting in the way they are now, Carmine will survive Gears 3.
Even the Scott Pilgrim game has a pre-order bonus
We know it’s very unusual for a PSN game to be pre-ordered. Steam lets you pre-load some of its games before release, but that’s just really meant to help you avoid congestion for when everyone starts downloading at the same time. Ubisoft on the other hand wants you to pre-order Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game for PSN. This is probably the strangest concept we’ve ever heard.
