US PSP owners will get to play God Eater, too
Have you always wished you could play a Monster Hunter style game that was a little more fantasy-oriented? God Eater is here to grant that wish. Well, it isn’t here yet. D3Publisher has just announced it will be releasing the Bandai Namco PSP game in North America. God Eater made its Japanese debut on February 4, 2010, and will be released in the US in Q3 2010.
God Eater is more modern than Monster Hunter. It takes place in a post-apocolyptic world where players are God Eaters that wield special, transforming Jinki weapons. Wondercon 2009: Video game highlights
WonderCon is the premiere comic book, science fiction, and motion picture convention that has graced San Francisco, California, since 2003. Usually held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, just a few blocks from Union Square, WonderCon has grown significantly in size over the past few years thanks to its inception into the Comic-Con International family.

.hack//Link coming soon to PSPs
The .hack// series of RPGs are a PS2 staple, but it looks like fans are going to have to go get a PSP if they want the last game in the series. Famitsu has just leaked the latest news about Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2′s next, and last game in the series, .hack//Link for the PSP.
The new game takes place at the same time as the .hack//Link manga, three years after .hack//G.U., and will have some of the same characters, but will have an original storyline. The new game will also feature over 100 characters who appeared in all of the previous .hack// entries. Not all of them will be party members though – only 33 characters will appear as CPU partner characters that will assist you as you journey through dungeons in the latest version of The World, The World R:X. Sony Metreon holds Soulcalibur IV tourney, Sasaki signs a system
To celebrate the release of its latest game, Soulcalibur IV, on July 29, 2008, Bandai Namco held a tournament at the Metreon’s Sony Playstation Store, located in San Francisco, CA. The tournament required no prerequisites and eligibility was based on one simple rule: first come, first serve.
While many of the initial registered fighters failed to commit, there were more than enough over-enthusiastic bodies present just hopping at the chance to show-off their skills in Soulcalibur IV, or lack thereof.
