What Happened To: The Elder Scrolls Travels Oblivion for the PSP
Bethesda Softworks seemed to start off pretty excited about the prospect and was working hard on trying to get the game in working order for a release date as early as April 2007.
Slowly the release date kept getting pushed back to the point where some sources had the release date pushed as far back as December 2007.
Eventually, Gamestop removed the entry for the possible game from its catalog. This got different media outlets, including Kotaku, to start wondering and reporting on whether or not the game might be a canceled game.
Nominees for Spike TV’s Video Game Awards announced
Another year and another Video Game Awards show. Better known as SpikeTV’s VGAs, this will be the sixth year for the show.
Love it or loath it the show will go on in full spectacle that will include a performance by rapper turned-video game character, 50 Cent, and a “Gamer God” award for Will Wright.
The list this year looks fairly promising without too much of one game in your face like last year’s seven nominations for a certain alien-shooting game and a game about an undersea dystopia.
