CES 2011: Jesus is a gamer, too (dammit)
Yeah, you read that right. There’s a booth at CES 2011 where the entire message the representatives are pushing is the idea that a 21st century Jesus Christ would be a gamer.
GameChurch, in the North Hall on the fringe of the Game Lounge area, is not trying to sell or push anything (except maybe a more modern version of The Good Book).
Bible may prove videogames ain’t so bad
There is an interesting article by Bruce Everiss that uses the Bible to help put things in perspective regarding the ratings system and how it is used.
If we were to examine the Bible under the same light as so many videogames, we would find it potentially inappropriate reading material for children. Using to a website that can search the King James Bible for content was used to look for some references, the results show that the word “harlot” is used dozens of times as well as others such as “fornicator” and “sodomite…”
