Kmart has 7 gaming coupons and discounts for September 11-17, 2011
Time to look through more ads for more gaming deals! The sales at Kmart this week are spread out, appearing in both the Kmart circular with your Sunday papers and online at the Kmart Gamer website. You’ll want to check both (or just keep reading), since there are different deals mentioned in both spots. Either way, there are a number of opportunities to get low prices or gaming coupons with purchases. Just remember to become a free Shop Your Way Rewards member to get said gaming coupons (gift card) on your receipts…
Amazon has both BioShock games for the price of one
Amazon has a fantastic offer for anyone who hasn’t explored the disturbing underground city of Rapture. For a limited time, Amazon is throwing in the original BioShock with any order of BioShock 2. You can get both games for as low as $14.96. These are some great games to give as gifts. The person who receives these two games will think you bought both games just for them!
Return to Rapture with Minerva’s Den Bioshock 2 DLC
I know you’re probably busy playing the single-player Bioshock 2 Protector Trials DLC that came out August 3, 2010, but you should know that another DLC installment is in development. 2K games announced today that the company is hard at work building Minerva’s Den and expand PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners’ Bioshock 2 experience…
Xbox 360 Final Fantasy XIII bundle with two free games $299 on Amazon
The Xbox 360 S has officially taken hold. It’s time for retailers to start clearing out its inventory of older Xbox 360 models. The special that Amazon is holding on August 2, 2010 may be the first of many Xbox 360 fire sales. Amazon currently sells a Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 bundle for $299, but it will sweeten the deal next week by throwing in two additional games for free.
Prepare for Bioshock 2 Protector Trials in August 2010
2K Games is ready to step in and make Bioshock 2 interesting again. Well, Bioshock 2 was always interesting, just by now most people have probably beaten the game, and maybe even mastered the multiplayer. So the “Protector Trials” downloadable content will be a welcome addition when it arrives August 3, 2010 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PCs.
The “Protector Trials” DLC is aptly named, as it gives you the opportunity, as a Big Daddy, to protect a Little Sister…
Bioshock 2 experiences a 1-day price cut at Amazon
It is definitely time to return to Rapture. Amazon’s deal of the day today (June 2, 2010) is Bioshock 2! Every single version is on sale, so if you haven’t picked up the game yet, you need to head over there today. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Bioshock 2 are both $29.99, half off the normal price of $59.99. The Windows PC version isn’t quite half off, but it’s close at it’s sale price of $25.99. It normally costs $49.99.
The most surprising part of today’s Amazon Video Game Deal of the Day is that it also includes the Xbox 360 special edition of Bioshock 2. The big bundle normally costs a whopping $99.99, but today it’s only $64.99. You get lots of extra goodies with this edition, including a Bioshock 2 art book, posters that have secret blacklight messages on them, a record of the Bioshock original soundtrack and a CD with the Bioshock 2 soundtrack.
While the Deal of the Day page doesn’t mention it, the PS3 Bioshock 2 special edition is also on sale…
Rapture Metro Pack and Kill’em Kindly DLC come to Bioshock 2
The Xbox 360 and PS3 owners of Bioshock 2 are going to get a lot more today, if they have the money to acquire the latest downloadable content (DLC). 2K Games has just announced that three new DLC packs have been added to the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live for those who need more to do in Rapture. Windows PC owners are going to have to be patient, as the DLC isn’t available for them yet.
First, there’s Kill’em Kindly, which is absolutely free. Free for any platform you own it for. It’s a melee multiplayer mode where everyone fights using only one kind of weapon – a golf club. Looks like golf is about to get more interesting…
Amazon discounts Bioshock 2 and announces Xbox 360 360 Gold Box event
It’s another one of those Amazon video game deal days! Not only does the site have a fantastic video game Deal of the Day (Bioshock 2), all of the Gold Box sale items today (April 27, 2010) are somehow related to the Xbox 360. Everything’s a one day affair though, so you have to hurry and make your purchases before the sales expire or stock runs out.
First, the Bioshock 2 details since it’s the video game Deal of the Day. For $39.98 you can get either the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game. Normally it costs $59.99, so you’re saving over $20. This deal is available all day, but only while Amazon still has it in stock. Since Bioshock 2 is a fairly in-demand game, I suggest picking one up as soon as possible.
Second, the Gold Box. Since it’s still so early, there are lots of clues but no solid leads on what Xbox 360 games and items will be on sale throughout the day. All we know for now is Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Mass Effect 2 were the first two games on sale. So here’s a list of Amazon’s hints, and my guesses as to what they refer to…
Rumor Time: A BioShock MMO might be in the works
Picture this – a wide open, massively-multiplayer version of the glorious underwater metropolis of Rapture. Plasmid powers and commerce gone haywire. The ability to control a spider splicer named “CharlesInCharge” and run around wreaking havoc. Ok, I may be getting too far ahead of myself, but there’s a buzz around the interwebs today that the BioShock franchise may be getting an MMO.
Xbox Live Update for the week of March 7 through 13, 2010
The Xbox Live Arcade House Party continues this week and now they have let in the racecars with weapons fully attached. Because it is simply not a party until somebody straps a rocket launcher to the hood of their car. Scrap Metal is a racer with heavy car combat elements and it’s drawing favorable comparisons to the Twisted Metal series.
