Battles break out in Summer 2010 with BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to enjoy even more 2D battling goodness soon. Aksys has announced that BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, the sequel to the very successful BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is in the works and will be out sometime in Summer, 2010. So Super Street Fighter IV is going to have some company this season.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift sounds like it takes all the best parts of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, and then adds in a lot of good, new, extra stuff! For example, there are Beginner, Tutorial, Challenge and Legion Modes. Beginner and Challenge both change how the game is played to make it less or more complicated, Tutorial lets you practice and Legion lets you take over Kagutsuchi in a fighting/strategic manner….

BlazBlue Portable debuting on Japanese PSPs in February 2010

Good news for fans of the Arc System Works fighter BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger that Aksys so thoughtfully brought to North America – its spreading to another system. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is being ported to the PSP as BlazBlue Portable. Arc Systems Works recently announced the new project and Famitsu confirms it.
