PlayStation Store Update: Another PS1 Classic, new movies available (June 21 to June 27, 2009)

This week an old PS One classic comes to the PlayStation Portable, the game that started it all on the PlayStation, Metal Gear Solid. Players can re-live the defining mission for Solid Snake at Shadow Moses for $9.99. Save Meryl and rescue Otacon all over again while sneaking into the complex and infiltrating the compound to find and destroy Metal Gear. Play the missions that were only referenced in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Also new this week, with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue recently becoming a PS3 Greatest Hits title, the price of the game has been reduced from $39.99 to $29.99 permanently and is available for download now…
