If you haven’t picked up a DSi yet, now is your chance for a great deal.

Starting this Friday, November 27, 2009 (presumably lasting through the holidays), you can purchase a Metallic Blue or White Nintendo DSi systems that come pre-installed with more than $20 in software value at various retailers.

French researcher claims Brain Age is faulty

The success of Nintendo’s Brain Age series can be attributed to both scientific officials touting its capabilities and positive reviews from the gaming press. There are some, however, that are still not sold on its potential.

To help promote the Touch Generation-branded lineup of games, Nintendo sent members of the media a laminated placemat featuring a TV dinner style tray made up of a Thanksgiving feast” turkey, mashed more »

Brain Age 2 to be bundled with Nintendo’s new DS Color

Reminiscent of the original GameBoy Color announcement, Nintendo is releasing a DS with the Color moniker (at least for marketing purposes). The DS Color is not really a new DS, just the same ol’ DS Lite with a new color scheme. Here is Nintendo’s description of the color scheme: The top half of the new more »

A “hot” Midway Brain game

Inspired by the successes of Big Brain Academy and Brain Age, other companies are apparently less afraid to get into the adult edugaming, er, game. Midway is releasing Hot Brain for the PSP in June 2007, featuring a weird professor voiced by actor Fred Willard. Games will be of the casual genre, include various memory more »
