7 million people now Battlefield Heroes, EA celebrates with in-game event
EA’s free-to-play, massive multiplayer shooter Battlefield Heroes is doing pretty well for itself. I mean, getting 7 million people to play in under three years is pretty good. The game first debuted in June, 2009 and it’s reached that user milestone by only March, 2011. It’s a cause for celebration, which is exactly what EA intends to do.
All 7 million of those Battlefield Heroes players are now going to be rewarded until March 15, 2011…
WWE All Stars Fantasy Warfare now on Facebook
With all the attention companies are paying to Facebook, it only stands to reason that the WWE would head there as well. Which is why WWE All Stars Fantasy Warfare has suddenly appeared as a possible app to add to your profile at the site. Wrestling fans may be a little disappointed though, as it isn’t the official WWE browser-based fighting game you were probably hoping to play…
Bing brings casual games
Microsoft is hoping to give internet users a new reason to favor Bing over other search engines. Brace yourself for the lure of addictive, casual games. If you head over to the Bing website and navigate to the Bing Entertainment section, you’ll see a tab on top just for games. Once you reach that point, well, odds are that’s it for you. Kiss an hour goodbye.
See, Bing has brought out the big guns with this Games section…
Pocket God Facebook’s second episode begins
The Facebook version of Pocket God is proving to be more similar to the original iOS versions than before, thanks to the latest episode update. Just like in the portable versions, the browser-based incarnation of Pocket God experiences content updates regularly, with the “episode” of the game changing rather than the version each time. Considering the Pocket God Facebook open beta only began about a month ago near the end of December, 2010, it’s admirable to see it already shift from Episode 1: Pocket God, antisocial to Episode 2: Clash of the Frightened…

Everyone can enjoy the Pocket God Facebook open beta
Good news for Pocket God fans, you can play it on Facebook now too! The app isn’t totally finished, but it has entered the open beta phase. That means everyone can add it to their profile and start playing with the pygmies. Like the iOS and other Pocket God games, the Facebook incarnation will have episodes, with each update adding more to the game. The first one is called “Pocket God, antisocial.”
Once I heard the news, I immediately went to Facebook to test out the game…

You’re going to need to add another application to your Facebook profile this afternoon. PopCap’s just released Zuma Blitz. Yes, there will be free ball blasting and matching action in your browser now, since the casual game has exited the beta phase.

PETA thinks Super Tofu Boy is better than Super Meat Boy
If you’ve always had a problem with helping a wad of bloody meat called Meat Boy reunite with his girlfriend, then maybe a game starring an anthropomorphic block of tofu named Tofu Boy would be more appealing. In PETA’s Super Tofu Boy, players help save Tofu Boy’s new girlfriend, Bandage Girl, from her jealous ex-boyfriend Meat Boy.
Super Tofu Boy has 10 levels, two of which are immediately available to play…
Create a warrior in Epic Fighters on Facebook
Digital Chocolate, the social gaming company headed by EA founder Trip Hawkins, has unleashed Epic Fighters on Facebook. Despite the misleading name, it’s not a street fighting or boxing sim. It’s a RPG set in a Lord of the Rings-style environment of Amaranth. Your quest asks you to become the king or queen by dethroning the current Dark King Thora Kalyptica. To do so, you’ll choose from Human, Elf, Undead (because 2010 is the year of the zombie) or Dark Elf to create your warrior. You have a diverse selection of fighting and magic styles as well…
