Retailers will stock shelves with two more PlayStation Move bundles
The holiday season is creeping up on us at an alarming rate. We’re already seeing some Black Friday ads appear online, and there are more to come. Spending this year isn’t expected to be spectacular given the state of the economy, but there will be no shortage of options no matter what you’re looking for. Take these two newly announced PlayStation Move bundles for example. Expect to see them in stores next week. One bundle comes with a Move controller, the PlayStation Eye, Sports Champions and Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest for $99.99. The other is a console bundle.
LittleBigPlanet 2 PlayStation Move bundle to brighten up the holidays
Sony has put together another PlayStation bundle product that will look nice nestled next to the newest PSP Entertainment Pack under the Christmas tree. On November 15, the LittleBigPlanet 2 PlayStation Move bundle will be available for $129.99. The bundle does not include a PS3 console. It includes LittleBigPlanet 2: Special Edition, Move, the Navigation Controller and the PlayStation Eye.
Sony pushes out one more PSP Entertainment Pack for the holidays
Even as the February 22 launch of the PlayStation Vita gradually comes closer, Sony wants to have something new available for the holiday season. That’s why it’s coming out with a new PSP Entertainment Pack starring Cars 2: The Video Game and FIFA Soccer 12. The bundle will be on sale November 15 for $159.99. That makes this bundle $10 less than the 3DS.
Wii with no backward compatibility coming to North America October 23, 2011
I knew it was going to happen. I just knew it. Nintendo’s taking GameCube compatibility away from not only Europeans, but from North Americans as well. A brand new Wii bundle has been prepared for the 2011 Holiday season. It doesn’t have any special name, but it does have a slightly smaller, black Wii with no backwards compatibility that can only sit horizontally beside your TV.
This new Wii bundle is pretty similar to the prior ones…
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded gets a PS3-exclusive bundle
Activision has come up with another reason to jump on the PlayStation Move bandwagon. The publisher has announced the PS3 will get the GoldenEye 007: Reloaded “Double O” Edition. This is essentially a Move bundle. It includes GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, PlayStation Move, PlayStation Eye, the Navigation controller and the Move Sharp Shooter. The Double O bundle will be in stores on November 1, 2011. Take that GameStop.
You know you want a gold Wii Remote Plus
How many Wii Remotes do you have now? I’m guessing you’ve accumulated more Wii Remotes than you actually need at this point. Surely there’s room in your heart (and living room) for just one more.
Walmart accidently lists permanent Kinect bundle discount
Last week, Walmart printed a heck of a deal in its weekly ad. The retailer listed the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle for $249, effectively putting it on the same playing field as the recently discounted 160GB PS3. It turns out Walmart didn’t mean to imply to the price drop was permanent by calling it a “rollback.” It was all a mistake.
Walmart knocking $50 off 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle
August 28 through September 5 may be the perfect time to pick up a 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. Scans from an upcoming Walmart ad lists the bundle for $249. It contains the console, Kinect and a month of Xbox Live Gold.
Revive your love of Mega Man with the PSP Mega Man Dual Pack
While it isn’t the Mega Man love we wanted, Capcom’s done something to show that it hasn’t forgotten about our favorite blue run-and-gun hero. Back in January and March, 2006, when the PSP was still shiny and new, Capcom released Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X and Mega Man Powered Up. Both games did fairly well worldwide. In fact, they did well enough to merit a budget rerelease in 2009 in Japan, bundled together as the Irregular Hunter X / RockMan RockMan Value Pack. Now, two years later, North America is getting that bundle…
Get Madden 12, Need for Speed Shift and a PSP for $160 after August 30
Even though the PSP hasn’t been shown much love in terms of games lately, Sony’s still trying to push the other gaming handheld and remind gamers it exists with bundles. If the DS or 3DS doesn’t appeal to you and doesn’t seem worth your $170, then hold onto your money until August 30, 2011 and think about the new Madden NFL 12 & Need for Speed: Shift PSP Entertainment Pack.
Don’t let the whole PSP entertainment pack moniker stump you. That’s just Sony’s fancy way of saying bundle…
