Kmart announces money saving options for PlayStation Move

If you’re planning on picking up a PlayStation Move on September 17, 2010, you may want to consider looking around for any good deals. As luck would have it, Kmart has just revealed through Twitter its plans to bring in more customers when Move launches. Kmart has a number of special offers for Move from September 17 to September 25, 2010.

Kmart discounting consoles and games for the week

Head to Kmart if you’re in the market for a new gaming console. From today (August 8, 2010) until August 14, 2010, Kmart is clearing its inventory of certain console models. Most of them include the original white Wii and old Xbox 360 consoles. The Xbox 360 S is the new standard and the black Wii seems to be here to stay. Also up for a discount are numerous PSP bundles and specific game bundles.

E3 2010: Sony announces Playstation Move release dates, prices, bundles

Pricing and release details for the Playstation Move motion controller and its respective bundles were announced at Sony’s E3 2010 press conference on June 15, 2010.

Here’s a quick rundown of the international and US release dates and pricing for components and bundles.

This week’s PlayStation 3 downloadable game is Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment for $14.99. This week’s featured PSP downloadable game is actually several games available in the Metal Gear Solid PSP Bundle for $29.99.

Sony Home Update: Red Bull Island expands and Holiday Items at the Mall

Don’t be alarmed when you enter Central Plaza this week and hear explosions everywhere. This week in Central Plaza there’s a new display between the Listen@Home station and the bowling alley, a rather large spacecraft defending the community from invaders.

For those Home users tired of flying the airplanes on Red Bull Island, the island has expanded to include a beach and an Illume space featuring sports sponsored by Red Bull.

There’s also a mini game and, as usual, a big ol’ list of purchaseables…

Black Friday DSi bundles with pre-installed games
