Two Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC packs coming early 2011
The words “3D Castlevania” may make many fans of the series understandably nervous. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow played to mostly favorable reviews and took a whole new generation into battles against goblins, vampires and other supernatural foes. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow release date announced
Konami has announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will launch in North America on October 5, 2010 for for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is a reboot of the series, and is a collaboration between MercurySteam and Kojima Productions (as in, Metal Gear‘s Hideo Kojima).

Video Games Live performance to air July 2010 on PBS
Video Games Live, the concert series that features orchestras performing video game scores for a live audience, will be on television for the first time ever. Starting July 31, 2010, and continuing throughout August, PBS will air a 90-minute special that will include performances from a host of famous game franchises.

As the villain in Castlevania , Count Dracula has been keeping gamers up late into the night since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System. With that series’ popularity not being as high as it used to be, we wondered what sort of spirits (heh heh, spirits, get it?)… Oh forget it.
