NIER not so expensive on Amazon today

PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will be pleased to know that NIER is Amazon’s Deal of the Day for the site’s video game section. So, while supplies last today (May 19, 2010), you can get NIER for either system for only $44.99.

Normally, a copy of NIER for the PS3 or Xbox 360 costs $59.99. So admitedly, the savings aren’t super. It’s only $15. But sometimes even a small savings can mean a lot. Plus, you have to take into account the release date as well. NIER came out less than a month ago, on April 27, 2010 to be exact, for both systems…

Gamertell Review: Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for Wii

I shouldn’t have played this game so quickly after Dead Space Extraction. Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles seems quite common by comparison. This isn’t entirely fair, though, because it’s still a great looking game that offers an intense action experience. A game like this can only be done properly on the Wii, and that’s somewhat rewarding. It’s a great entry in the Resident Evil series and is a fun throwback to those who will remember these places and characters.

XSeed releasing KORG DS-10 Plus early 2010

Like to mix music? Wish you had a way to do it and get that groovy, retro video game-y sound? Well then just for you, XSeed Games has announced it will release KORG DS-10 Plus – a followup to its 2008 cart of a similar name, KORG DS-10 – early 2010 for DS and DSi.

Developed by Cavia, Inc. and Procyon Studio, the application is based on the KORG MS-10 music synthesizer and is more a music creation and manipulation program than a game. According to XSeed press release, the release will “utilize the high-performance specifications of the DSi.”
