Toki Tori now part of the Humble Bundle for Android
As expected, the latest Humble Indie Bundle has been updated. The Humble Bundle for Android now contains five Windows, Mac, Linux and Android games as Toki Tori joins Anomaly: Warzone, Osmos, Edge and World of Goo. Which works out well, because we could always use an extra action/puzzle game! Toki Tori is a Two Tribes more »
The Indie Gala 2 bundle is still available
I know that the whole idea of indie game bundles are getting overwhelming. Instead of being a once or twice a year thing you eagerly anticipate, it seems like a new one pops up every month. I guess we’ll just have to adjust and be content with knowing a lot of money is going to more »
AGS Bake Sale to help sick kids play video games
Come buy some cupcakes, homemade brownies and, oh my, some indie games! That’s right, it’s a video game bake sale being thrown by AGS (Adventure Game Studios) in an effort to raise money for the Child’s Play charity, an organization that seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world by giving them more »
The Little Big Bunch shows indie games even more love
The Humble Indie Bundle 4 isn’t the only collection of pay-what-you-want indie games available right now. There is another bundle in town called the Little Big Bunch. The method for getting these games is the same as the Humble Bundle and all of its cousins. For a really low price, you can own five PC games that are free of DRM and split your contribution between developers and the Games Aid charity.
Humble Inversion Bundle gets Dungeons of Dredmor
As expected, the Humble Inversion Bundle has grown. We all knew it would happen. There has yet to be a Humble Bundle where an extra game or three hasn’t been added after the halfway point. If the prospect of paying over the current average and getting six games wasn’t enough to get you to buy indie games to support the developers and/or charity, maybe adding Dungeons of Dredmor to the package and bringing the number up to seven will.
Dungeons of Dredmor is, like the other Humble Inversion Bundle games, an indie Windows, Mac and Linux adventure…
Enjoy Afterfall: InSanity on Black Friday 2011
Does the thought of braving Black Friday crowds seem too brutal for you? Don’t worry, there’s an alternative. November 25, 2011 isn’t just the most frenzied shopping day of the year. It’s also the day when Nicolas’ Afterfall: InSanity debuts! So instead of facing bloodthirsty creatures while scavenging for both survival and glory, you can sit at home with a new post-apocalyptic survival-horror-shooter. Okay, so either way you’ll see some pretty dark things, but at least the monsters and scary situations in Afterfall: InSanity won’t be real.
As mentioned, Afterfall: InSanity is a survival horror game following a man named Albert…
Gish, Jasper’s Journeys, Chocolate Castle and Zen Puzzle Garden join Humble Voxatron Debut
The Humble Voxatron Debut will be gone forever in a few days on November 14, 2011, and now even more games have been added to make it worth your while. You can now get Gish and three mini-games from Voxatron creators Lexaloffle to enjoy, no matter how much you pay. You still have to pay more than the average to get Blocks That Matter and The Binding of Isaac. So if you have bought the bundle, go back to your page to get some new downloads and if you haven’t, what’s wrong with you? (I kid, of course.)
Gish is a pretty cool action game where you control Gish, a ball of tar…
The Corona Indie Bundle dishes out 5 iOS and Android games for $0.99
We all know how popular and successful the various Humble Indie Bundles have been. For a ludicrously small amount of money, gamers purchased multiple games with no DRM or strings attached. The Corona Indie Bundle is doing something similar, but the five games it’s offering are for iOS and Android devices. Also, instead of making a donation of your choice, you get everything for $0.99.
Afterfall: InSanity tries a different market approach with $1 preorders
When we think of pre-ordering games, we usually relate it to putting a small portion of money down to reserve a copy, then paying the full amount on launch day. Nicolas Games, the publisher of the upcoming PC game Afterfall: InSanity, is taking the concept of preorders and putting an enticing and charitable twist on it. The publisher is only asking $1 for preorders in the hope that 10 million digital copies of the game will be spoken for between now and November 24, 2011.
Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle now includes SpaceChem and Trauma
Remember that new Humble Bundle I talked to you about last week? You know, the one that wasn’t one of those numbered bundles, but was instead a special promotional one revolving around a certain game? Well, the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle is now much more enticing. That’s because, you won’t just get Frozen Synapse and its soundtrack if you pay as little as possible for the bundle, you’ll also get SpaceChem and Trauma.
SpaceChem and Trauma are both quite unusual games…
