Kmart has gaming coupons for Kinect shoppers

Once again, Kmart is the place to go for gaming coupons on newly released items you were probably going to buy anyway. This week’s ad for October 31 through November 6, 2010 primarily centers on the Xbox 360 Kinect peripheral, but there are a few special offers for GoldenEye 007 and the Toy Story 3 games.

First, let’s look at the Kinect deals…

GoldenEye 007 bundle includes game and gold Classic Controller Pro

Nintendo and Activision could never let a monumental Wii release like GoldenEye 007 slip by without commemorating it in some kind of special way. To make the remake of the beloved N64 game even more special, there will be a game and controller bundle. You’re probably thinking that sounds pretty ordinary, but gold Classic Controller Pros are far from ordinary…

Amazon sellling Japanese Classic Controller Pros at premium prices

Usually, if you want an import video game controller or peripheral, you head to a specialty store either online or near you. If you’re looking for a Classic Controller Pro though, that isn’t necessary. Amazon is now carrying both the black and white Japanese Classic Controller Pros for the Wii. When they’re in stock, they’re $34.99, and should work with any Wii regardless of region.

At the moment, the black, Japanese version of the Classic Controller Pro is out of stock at Amazon. You can buy it from other sellers, but Amazon is temporarily out of them. Amazon does still have the white Classic Controller Pro. It seems that it can take some time to acquire though, as instead of shipping immediately like most Amazon products, it takes between two and four weeks to ship.

Of course, it may be a better idea to wait for the North American versions of the Classic Controller Pros…

Monster Hunter Tri comes with Classic Controller Pro

When Monster Hunter Tri was released back in Japan on August 1, 2009, it was available alone and in a special bundle that included a black Wii and Classic Controller Pro. Well, North America isn’t going to be fortunate enough to get the black Wii, but there will be a Monster Hunter Tri and Classic Controller Pro bundle available when the game is released April 6, 2010. The bundle will come with the game and a black Classic Controller Pro for $59.99.

You don’t have to buy the bundle though. Monster Hunter Tri will be available alone for $49.99. The Classic Controller Pro will also be available separately for $19.99 in either white or black. Nintendo doesn’t offer a specific release date for the Classic Controller Pro, so it looks like you’ll have to wait until April, 2010 for the new controller.

Monster Hunter Tri is the first entry in the series on the Wii, and includes 18 new monsters, Wii Speak support…
