The DSi XL will now come in green, yellow and blue. The price for the DSi XL will drop down to around the equivalent of $220. The DSi will drop to about $195. These prices are approximate estimates after converting yen to dollars. This leaves us to wonder if the rest of the world will also get DSi and DSi XL price cuts. Nintendo has confirmed the UK will follow suit.

During the Nintendo E3 keynote, people were wondering whether or not the company was planning to release their mega smash-selling Nintendo Wii in various colors rather than the current standard white.

Nintendo, disappointingly, did not make such an announcement and now we know why – they’re going to release a new shade for both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DSi on August 1, 2009, and July 11, 2009, respectively, but only in Japan.
