Name the newest map in Combat Arms

If you’ve ever had the desire to name your own battle map – you know, for whatever reason – well, today is your lucky day.

Nexon is updating it’s Combat Arms content February 2011 with new battle maps and they want you, the player, to name one.

The new map will be set in a deserted tropical army base, in a close-quarters military combat zone. Located in a small valley surrounded by mountains, players will come face to face with lots of danger and little room to escape.

Black Friday 2009: Nexon games’ cash shops offer discounts

Black Friday is a good way to take care of your friends and family, but perhaps not so good for internet buddies. After all, you may just be fellow guild members in an MMO, or close enough to want to give a gift, but not actually buy it and mail it out. If you and your online friends play one of Nexon’s free-to-play MMOs, then you’re covered.

Nexon has just announced that the cash shops for Combat Arms, Dungeon Fighter Online, MapleStory and Mabinogi will all have sufficient discounts and sales in each shop. Each games’ cash shop sale will be different though.

Nexon offering in-game deals to celebrate Black Friday 2008

Nexon has a special treat for all you MMO fans this Thanksgiving (2008) in the form of a selection of in-game events, item discounts and more.

From today (November 26, 2008) until December 3, 2008, Combat Arms players will be treated to a 20% discount on certain items in addition to access to a collection of discount packages including the Golden Mei Package which includes the mercenary Mei and the gold-plated AK-47.

As of yesterday (November 25, 2008) and through until December 5, 2008, Mabinogi subscribers will also be granted 5% off absolutely everything in the Item Shop. A sale will also be held on November 28 from 10 a.m., during which one exclusive item will be sold every two hours.

Nexon and 7-Eleven team up for “Where You Play for Free” Slurpee campaign (update)

Okay Nexon fans, head over to 7-Eleven during your lunch break or after work. Why? They’ve teamed up with the mini-mart chain to offer special Nexon game Slurpee cups and Nexon game DVDs during the “Where You Play for FREE” campaign. If you get a 22 oz Slurpee in a Nexon Slurpee cup, you’ll be able to get a virtual prize code, that you can redeem for perks or privileges in Combat Arms, Mabinogi, MapleStory or Sugar Rush. Combat Arms hits 1 million users, celebrates with new game mode

Combat Arms is a great online first-person shooter that is currently a free download from Nexon. We recently reviewed Combat Arms and appreciated how much dedication is being continually put into it ever since it was first released.

If you haven’t already given Combat Arms a try, now is the perfect time. Combat Arms now boasts 1 million users in its growing online army. Nexon is so pleased with this, it’s decided to give us a little treat in the form of a new map and a new game play mode…

Combat Arms is a free-to-play online multiplayer first-person shooter published by Nexon. Free online games tend to have a negative stigma attached to them for being underdeveloped lumps of coal that scare people off after playing it once. I’m happy to say that Combat Arms is a huge exception to this rule.

This-fast paced FPS is shining example of how a game doesn’t need to cost $60 in exchange for hours for great gameplay…

Combat Arms exits the beta phase

Nexon’s free-to-play, MMOFPS (massive multiplayer online first person shooter) Combat Arms, has been officially released. That’s right, no more beta phases for you. From now on, the game should be absolutely perfect and ready for play. No more bugs or glitches! Just smooth battles against other players from around the country.

Quite a few additions have been made now that the game is no longer in beta. There are new weapons for players to wield, an extra game map to explore and fight in and a “Capture the Flag” game mode. Most importantly, the official launch of Combat Arms also means that the ranking system is working! Now players can see how they and their clan are doing, compared to other users.

Nexon’s Combat Arms is in the open beta phase

Nexon has just begun the open beta period for its first, free MMOFPS, Combat Arms” title=”Combat Arms”>Combat Arms. The open beta began July 1, 2008, and will run until Nexon launches the commercial version of the game is launched before the end of Summer 2008.

In Combat Arms, players are able to completely customize and arm a soldier. They can then go off and play in multiple gameplay modes against other players around the world, choosing to either to team up or fight alone. The game has in-game messengers and a clan system, in case players want to team up to succeed. The open beta update also includes a new map, new match settings and a Deathmatch mode. The game also has a tracking system built into it so you can determine how well you and your clan are doing.
