Mayhem brings noir to a racing game

Here’s a game you’ve probably haven’t heard too much about. Mayhem is an upcoming demolition derby racing game that will release in March 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be priced at $39.99, which is less than most new games, and will have 3D support for both consoles. The 3D is apparently compatible with any TV, so Mayhem probably doesn’t support stereoscopic 3D that can be found in expensive sets. It’s under development by Left Field Productions and will be published by Rombax Games.

Mass Effect comic details Illusive Man’s origins

Who is the Illusive Man? What did he use to do before he was the leader of Cerberus, and how did he ascend to that position? Part 1 was released today (January 19th, 2011), with Mass Effect 2‘s Mac Walters as Lead Writer, co-written by John Jackson Miller (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic), and art by Omar Francia (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2).

Pocket God comic book coming August 3

The first issue of the Pocket God comic will be available in both digital and print form. The digital version will come out first through iVerse Media, a publisher that provides comics on the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and PlayStation Network. The print version will be released sometime in late Summer. No price has been given, but we do know the Pocket God comic will span four issues.
