Dark Horse Comics and Square Enix prepare Dungeon Siege III web comic
You will not believe it, Dungeon Siege III is going to be out on May 31, 2011! It’s only a little over two months away! Aren’t you just so excited? Yeah, I’m not all that hyped about it either. I suppose it’s the flurry of releases like BulletStorm, Crysis 2, Pokemon White/Black and Dragon Age II that make it difficult to worked up about Dungeon Siege III. Sure, it’s good news, but it may not inspire the same buzz as other games. Hopefully, Dark Horse Comics and Square Enix’s new digital comic will help with that…
GDC 2011: Super Meat Boy Ultra Edition out in April 2011
If you’ve been putting off buying Super Meat Boy on Steam, patiently waiting for the retail release, then take a good look at the box art to the right. Embrace it. Memorize it. That’s what you’re going to need to keep an eye out for online and on store shelves in April, 2011. It shouldn’t be too difficult to locate. Super Meat Boy Ultra Edition is awfully red, after all…
inFamous 2 Hero Edition saves the day
We won’t be seeing inFamous 2 in stores until June 7, 2011, but that doesn’t mean we can’t already start dreaming about buying that $59.99 PS3 exclusive. Or, perhaps you may be paying $99.99. It depends really, on whether you can be happy with just a plain, standard edition or if you really want to step things up and go for a deluxe Hero Edition. By Hero Edition, we of course mean it’s just the standard, goodie-ladden collector’s edition…
Telltale is developing a game based on The Walking Dead
Telltale has added a couple series to its growing number of franchises. Telltale just released the second episode of Back to the Future: The Game entitled Get Tannen!, and a free download for It’s About Time earlier today. In the future, Telltale will release a series of downloadable games based on Jurassic Park. Unlike BttF, Jurassic Park will feature characters that aren’t stars from the movie. Today, Telltale announced it will be making games based on the comic book series Fables, and The Walking Dead.
Batman: Arkham City comics set the stage for the game
Batman: Arkham City (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows) isn’t going to pick up exactly where Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows) left off, and that’s okay. It happens with video games. The good news is, if you really want to know what happens in the space between, you can. DC Comics is going to release a Batman: Arkham City comic mini-series in 2011. Best of all, the writer for the games, Paul Dini, is writing the comic…
inFamous comics bridge the gap between first two games
Since Christmas is only five days away, we don’t expect the videogame industry to be throwing major announcements our way. Therefore this story about a new comic book series based around inFamous can either be something you’re excited for, or something you could care less about. As a big fan of the first game, I fall into the former category.
Wizard World 2010: Videos of Willian Shatner’s “Creation Experience” panel
Captain James T. Kirk himself (William Shatner for you non trekkies) was at Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago, last Saturday August 21st, (the con ran from Aug. 19th- 22nd)
Shatner is a man who loves to talk, and talk he did at his Creation Experience panel. I took a video of him talking about a couple of his shows and asking the audience for help on a couple titles (lets face it, Shat an’t a young man anymore).
Wizard World 2010: William Shatner’s “Creation Experience” panel
William “The Shat” Shatner, known to many as Captain Kirk from the original Star Trek TV series, host of Priceline.com and Denny Crane from Boston Legal, graced us with his presence at Wizard World Comic Con help in Chicago, IL (US), August 19 through 22, 2010.
Shatner immediately started causing trouble when he tried to move the tables out of the way so he could be closer to us. “There is this green table between you and me and I don’t want it that way,” he said after shoving the tables, almost knocking over all the water pitchers. But, as we know, if The Shat wants it done, it gets done.
After that he spoke quite a lot about his new show…
Wizard World 2010: Videos of Brent Spiner’s “Creation Experience” panel
Brent Spiner, Data from Star Trek: Next Generation, was recently at the 2010 Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago, IL (US), August 19 through 22, 2010.
Spiner has a lot to say at his Creation Experience panel but he is a man who should be seen as well as heard, so I took a couple videos and captured his wonderful personality.
Wizard World 2010: Brent Spiner entertains his fans at his Creation Experience panel
I went to Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago this past weekend (August 19 through 22, 2010) and was able to see Brent Spiner, most famous for playing Data on Star Trek: Next Generation, at his Creation Experience panel on Saturday.
He talked about ST:NG
