Amazon’s December 9 Deals of the Day are family friendly
Amazon’s 19 Days of Deals in its video games section marches on, with today giving people the chance to save up to 40% on select DS, 3DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 games and accessories. The catch is, all of today’s items fall into the family games category. That means everything is rated “Everyone” by the ESRB and you won’t see anything too violent or objectional. Instead, you’ll see a lot of soft, happy, kiddie games and general accessories available for people to purchase, typically at between a 20-30% discount. (Though there are a few 40% discounts in there.)
Here’s a brief list of some of the best sale games you can get today…

Amazon’s 19 Days of Deals continues in its video game section, and today’s sales seem to focus on the PS3 and PSP. Well, there are a few Lightning Deals that will interest people with Xbox 360s, Windows PCs and Macs that need gaming headsets. For the most part though, today focuses on Sony fanboys and fangirls.
Let’s start with the Lightning Deals…

Amazon picks 15 random games and accessories as its November 30 Deal of the Day
Yes, Amazon’s continuing its deluge of video game sales this week. Perhaps it’s a weeklong tribute to Cyber Monday. Maybe Amazon just wants to sell more games. It doesn’t matter. It just means shoppers have another opportunity to pick up some cheap games, with 15 games and accessories marked down today. Which means I’m again taunted by the fact that I could have gotten Fate/Extra for $10 less if I’d waiting three weeks.
Since there are quite a few items to go through today, here’s a easy-to-read list to sift through…
Day 2 of Amazon’s Black Friday 2011 week has video game general sales, Lightning Deals (update 3)
Oh Amazon, your Black Friday 2011 sales will never cease. Actually, it’s only day two of its Black Friday week affair and I’m already tired of it. But that’s mainly because yesterday the site broke my heart by selling Fate/Extra for half of what I paid for it at GameStop. Alas, these things happen. Amazon’s doing to drive people even more crazy today by doubling the number of general games and accessories that are on sale, compared to what was offered yesterday, having a general Deal of the Day and seven sporatic Lightning Deals. Oh, that’s not even mentioning the random Resistance 3 bundle!
Let’s start with the Deal of the Day and custom bundle, since it’s really quick to go over both of them….
Amazon’s Black Friday 2011 Deals Week begins with 23 video game deals
Bracing yourself for one massive day of holiday shopping can be an incredible chore, which is why Amazon is trying to discourage that kind of behavior this year. Starting today, November 21, 2011, it is officially Black Friday Deals Week. That means games will be reduced now through Black Friday, to make things a little less stressful while also offering the opportunity to probably pick up more sale items. The video game section starts the sale off with 21 games and accessories temporarily reduced and a PS3 custom bundle option.
We’ll start off with the games. Oddly enough, two of the items appear in both the Black Friday Deals Week and Deal of the Day sections. I guess Amazon considers them to be extra special. One is The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Collector’s Edition, which comes with a bust, soundtrack and tons of other good stuff. This Windows PC game is normally $129.99, but it’s marked down to $99.99 for the day. The other item in both areas is the Mionix Naos 5000 Laser Gaming Mouse for Windows, which could go pretty well with The Witcher 2. It’s now $64.99 instead of $89.99.
Let’s just go ahead and look at the 21 other game and accessory deals available today….
Walmart’s 2011 Black Friday ad is now online
Good news from Walmart! It’s just put up a preview of it’s 2011 Black Friday deals online. Well, it’s past 12:01am, and here are some of the electronic and gaming deals you can look forward to checking out. So here’s what Walmart will have November 24-25, 2011. The store’s doors will open at 12am, Friday.
We’ll go through this by category, just because it’ll make all this easier…
