Sony warns users against hacking the PS3

Piracy has taken its toll on the PS3. Sony is currently wrapped up in litigation as it tries to bring the individuals who are responsible for breaking the PS3′s security to justice. While that’s going on, hackers have been having a merry time with their keys to the PS3 kingdom. Modern Warfare 2 is compromised and Killzone 3 is being pirated all over the web. As much as Sony tries to stop hackers through firmware updates, it never seems to last. Sony has now issued a warning to potential and current hackers on the PlayStation Blog.

Google pulls all Tetris clones from Android Market

The Tetris Company slapped Google with a Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice, ordering the company to remove any Tetris-like games from the Android Market. This includes not just any game using Tetris assets that are clearly ripped off, but also any game that vaguely resembles the original Tetris. Simply put, if you’ve seen any game on the Android Market with different shaped blocks falling from the sky, it’s in danger of being removed.

Square Enix wins copyright infringement case against Fantom

Square Enix Co., Ltd., recently announced the results of its copyright infringement case against Korean pop singer Ivy’s music video Temptation Sonata that aired in February 2007. The video was produced by HONG Jeong-ho and the Fantom Entertainment Group (a talent agency).
