Review: Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection for 3DS
It’s through no fault of its own that I can’t wholeheartedly recommend Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection for Nintendo 3DS. It’s a good collection of tables, each of which is developed faithfully. The problem is that I’ve played pinball on the iPad and iPhone. And having done that, pinball sims now make absolutely no sense anywhere else.
Duo of deadly Discovery Channel series coming to consoles in the next year or two
Two of Discovery Channel’s most popular series, Man vs. Wild and Deadliest Catch, are being turned into video games. Discovery Communications is working closely with publisher Crave to adapt both series.
Man vs. Wild is a survival series featuring British adventurer Bear Grylls. In this series, Bear pits himself in inhospitable locations using only basic tools to survive, create a shelter and find his way back to civilization. The upcoming Man vs. Wild game will not feature Bear but will present the player with similar situations as the ones portrayed in the show and will require them to use the skills taught by Bear and his guidance to survive.
Crave shows off Pinball Hall of Fame at E3 2007
Crave Entertainment showed off its Pinball sim at At E3 this week, featuring realistic recreations of classic tables including Gorgar, Black Knight, and Space Shuttle, for the PS2, PSP and Wii, due out Summer 2007. The tables are authentic down to the sound effects and individual quirks (like Black Knight’s revolutionary-for-the-time magna-save).
Players begin the game with access to four tables, unlocking the other half as the game progresses. The game includes …
Crave keeps things cool for E3 2007
I contacted Crave Entertainment to see if they had any pre-E3 announcements.
