Review: Solatorobo: Red the Hunter for Nintendo DS
People have been calling Solatorobo: Red the Hunter the swan song of the Nintendo DS. This is perhaps the fourth or fifth game to get that designation, and I have a feeling there’ll be four or five more. A more accurate way to label this game is as an adventure featuring a talking dog/fox thing who rides around on the back of a robot that likes to throw stuff.
Asura’s Wrath has another angry trailer
Last September during the Tokyo Game Show, Asura’s Wrath angrily punched its way into our hearts. As a tale of a former god who was betrayed by his brethren, Asura’s Wrath is guaranteed to have aggressive, bloody combat. The first trailer is still the angriest I’d seen in 2010, but the first Asura’s Wrath trailer of 2011 is more tame.
TGS 2010: Asura’s Wrath is the angriest thing you’ll see all day
The Tokyo Game Show announcements from Capcom continues. The company revealed a new game called Asura’s Wrath. Asura’s Wrath looks absolutely insane. It contains elements we never thought would be put together in a single videogame trailer. You have impalement, screaming, blood, giant space gods and pupil-less eyes in one violent package.
.hack//Link coming soon to PSPs
The .hack// series of RPGs are a PS2 staple, but it looks like fans are going to have to go get a PSP if they want the last game in the series. Famitsu has just leaked the latest news about Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2′s next, and last game in the series, .hack//Link for the PSP.
The new game takes place at the same time as the .hack//Link manga, three years after .hack//G.U., and will have some of the same characters, but will have an original storyline. The new game will also feature over 100 characters who appeared in all of the previous .hack// entries. Not all of them will be party members though – only 33 characters will appear as CPU partner characters that will assist you as you journey through dungeons in the latest version of The World, The World R:X. Like in previous games, you’ll be working to try and save The World R:X virtual environment from eminent disaster…
