Ubisoft reports big jump in sales, ships 6.5 million copies of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
Today (February 14, 2011), Ubisoft (like every other company within the last week), revealed the financial results for the company’s fiscal quarter which ended on December 31, 2011. Ubisoft saw a surge in sales in its third quarter, bringing in €600 million ($812 million) as opposed to €495 million ($666 million) during this time last year.
Partake in Gaia Online’s Promageddon 2009, the mother of all proms
From now until June 3, 2009, members of Gaia Online can enjoy the mother of all prom nights with their friends during their second annual virtual prom event known as Promageddon.
“Gaians are always looking for cool and entertaining ways to hang out with their friends online and this year we wanted to put a whole new spin on prom,” said Scott Kinzie, VP, Creative and User Experience at Gaia Interactive. “The ultimate goal with events like Promageddon is to create a unique and accessible experience for our users that is unlike anything else they’ll see online.”
EA announces soundtrack for Boogie
Electronic Arts announced today its soundtrack for the singing, dancing and music video-creating game Boogie, which will be released for the Wii on August 7, 2007, in North America and August 31, 2007, in Europe. The 38 songs span four decades from “ABC” by the Jackson 5 to recent pop hit “Fergalicious” by Fergie.
Boogie will ship with a microphone and has a suggested retail price of $59.99. The game is rated E10+ by the ESRB and 3+ by PEGI Europe.
