dead space downfall
A live-action Dead Space movie currently being discussed
With all the games out there, some of them seem to lend themselves very well to film. Dead Space has already shown its film potential with two animated features. While there were animation and voice acting quirks with each movie, both Downfall and Aftermath were pretty solid representations of what we could expect from a Dead Space whether we get more animated movies or actually get a live-action movie.
Review: Dead Space Aftermath on DVD, Blu-ray
Dead Space Aftermath tries to tell the untold story of events between the two games while also trying to flesh out this government conspiracy that Dead Space 2 runs with. We follow parts of the crew of the USG O’Bannon as they detail what happened in week before they are picked up off of the dead O’Bannon.
Gamertell Review: Dead Space Downfall on DVD, Blu-ray
Title: Dead Space DownfallRelease Date: October 28, 2008Company: Anchor BayRating: Not RatedLength 74 minutesPros: Strong story as a prequel. Great character development. Monster, environment and perspective animation is spot-onCons: Voice acting didn’t work as well as it could have, character animation has inconsistent quality, tiresome paceOverall Score: Two thumbs sideways, 74/100, C, ** out of five
Dead Space, EA’s new survival horror game (PS3, box 360, PC/Win), already has a film adaption titled Dead Space: Downfall. It’s an adequate yet irritating sci-fi/horror cartoon that acts as a prequel to the beautiful and horrifying game…
