The PlayStation Vita technically won’t be released for everyone until February 22, 2012. Unless people pre-ordered, then they get it February 15, 2012. Mass Effect 3 demo comes with temporary Xbox Live Gold subscription
Xbox Live Gold access has already been granted to everyone until February 5, but we won’t have to wait too long before free Gold access will become available again. The Mass Effect 3 demo, which will be released on February 14, will unlock Xbox Live Gold until the full game launches on March 6.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 strategy targets Xbox 360 owners
Sometimes videogame publishers tend to gravitate towards a certain console when promoting multiplatform games. Activision for example clearly favors the Xbox 360 with its Call of Duty games, and Ubisoft gives the PS3 a slight advantage with the Assassin’s Creed franchise. For Resident Evil 6, Capcom will show special attention to the Xbox 360 crowd.
Twisted Metal multiplayer demo connection issues are nearly resolved
The PlayStation Store update for this week contains a couple multiplayer demos for Twisted Metal and Syndicate. While I can’t speak on how steady the servers are with Syndicate, myself and others have experienced connection issues with the Twisted Metal multiplayer demo. Fortunately, Sony is actively working on getting everything straightened out.
