Opinion: PlayStation Move should have multiple, smaller killer apps

The biggest question regarding PlayStation Move has been whether or not it’s worth the purchase at this time. I see Move as a great addition to the PS3, but not a must-have addition. There are a handful of Move exclusive games at launch, but none of them can be considered a killer app. Until Move receives such a game, the peripheral will be seen as a bonus controller rather than the evolution of motion gaming Sony hopes it will become.

Gamertell Review: Max and the Magic Marker for Windows and Mac

What would happen if everything you drew came to life, even if what you drew was an evil purple monster? Well that is just what happened to Max in Max and the Magic Marker.

One day a little boy named Max received a package in the mail that contained a strange magic marker. He decided to draw a purple monster with it, and it immediately came to life and jumped into another picture he drew of his house. Max knew he must stop this monster so he quickly drew himself in the picture…

Gamertell Review: Sam and Max season 3: The Penal Zone for PC

Oh no! A giant space ape is trying to take over the world, and Sam and Max are the only hope for humanity. Oh crud!

Telltale’sSam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse is the third season for the dynamic duo. This season will be similar to Telltale’s Tales of Monkey Island where all five episode will be part of the same big story. Each episode will continue after the previous one, which is different then the stand alone episodes you are use to with the series, giving you a five episode long story.

In the first episode The Penal Zone, you are treated to a couple cut scenes (which is also unique to this season) that show a huge alien ape destroying airplanes and buildings from his space ship. Our hero’s are locked in a hamster looking cage and of course you need to get them out. Also, Max inexplicably has telekinetic powers, and Sam has a device that sends people to the “Penal Zone” which is not explained yet either. There is also a narrator that resembles a caricatured Rod Sterling from the Twilight Zone. He also gives you a tutorial on how to use Max’s new powers and how to play the rest of the game.
