E3 2010: Dungeon crawling and sea sailing with Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City
In Fall 2010, DS owners are going to be able to take on another Etrian Odyssey adventure. Atlus announced at E3 2010 that Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City is on course for a Q3 2010 release date. The company also announced a few additional details about the DS game where dungeon crawling and cartography go hand-in-hand.
As with all Etrian Odyssey games, Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City allows players to create a custom party of characters, with 30 member slots available at the in-game guild. Once you’ve decided who you want in your party, you head out to explore the dungeon or the ocean for quests and glory. You’ll need to craft maps on the touch screen though, if you want to keep track of where everything is for future reference and exploration. You can even explore the seas for extra islands and quests.
Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City will also be the first game in the series to offer multiplayer…
E3 2010: Atlus reveals some of its lineup
Atlus, a company notorious for teasing gamers with new E3 announcements and leaving lots of surprises for the day of the show, has hinted at its lineup for 2010. And what a lineup it is! So far only four games have been announced, but all four are very highly anticipated!
One game is enough to get everyone excited and alert – Trine 2.

E3 2010: DS games to watch out for next week
There are going to be a lot of DS announcements next week. It’s not surprising, since the DS is the most popular portable gaming platform. But trying to read and keep up with any possible DS announcement will become a chore. And E3 and gaming isn’t supposed to be a chore! So here’s a brief list of some of the best and most intriguing DS games that will definitely be appearing at E3 2010. This way you can have an idea of what games you might want to pay special attention to when all those news flashes start June 15, 2010.
Since all of the major developers and publishers’ E3 2010 lineups haven’t been announced yet, I’ll make sure to keep this post updated until E3 begins. That way you’ll know what news to keep an eye out for before Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
