Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 strategy targets Xbox 360 owners

Sometimes videogame publishers tend to gravitate towards a certain console when promoting multiplatform games. Activision for example clearly favors the Xbox 360 with its Call of Duty games, and Ubisoft gives the PS3 a slight advantage with the Assassin’s Creed franchise. For Resident Evil 6, Capcom will show special attention to the Xbox 360 crowd.

PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood getting free DLC

PS3 owners have been getting some exciting exclusive content pertaining to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. PlayStation Plus members were able to participate in the multiplayer beta when no one else could. Today (November 2, 2010), we learned Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be getting free DLC exclusively on PS3.

PlayStation Plus Update: Last Chance To Try Red Faction Guerrilla Free (Aug. 3 to Aug. 10, 2010)

This week’s PlayStation Plus featured game is Red Faction: Guerrilla. The 60-minute trial will no longer be available on August 10, 2010. So if you haven’t tried the game yet, download it now. Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to control Alec Mason, a mining engineer who travels to Mars to start a new life and to reunite with his brother. He arrives to find the inhabitants of Mars being oppressed by the Earth Defense Force. After being gunned down by EDF, Alec joins the resistance group Red Faction and must fight for freedom.

PlayStation Plus subscription service available June 29, 2010, for PS3, PSP

When the PlayStation Network launched November 2006, rumors began to spread about a fee-based system being implemented to use any network services currently available on the PlayStation 3 (including fees to use online gaming connection, chat or messaging services and access to the PlayStation Network Store).

At E3 2010, Sony confirmed that the existing PlayStation Network will remain free. The only service that will be available for an annual fee is the new optional subscription service called PlayStation Plus that will launch June 29, 2010.

The iPad’s international debut is May 28, 2010, and PlayFirst wants to be ready with Diner Dash: Grilling Green. The $4.99 app first made it’s US debut on April 1, 2010 on iTunes. PlayFirst is now localizing it so iPad adopters in the UK, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland will have something to play.

In order to help promote the forthcoming international Diner Dash: Grilling Green iPad release, a brand new trailer has been released. The video not only shows what Diner Dash: Grilling Green looks like in action, but also gives viewers an idea of what it’s like to actually play the game.

E3 2010: World exclusive Nintendo game to be revealed

E3 2010 begins in a little over one month and it’s time to start the hype train. Nintendo is releasing one of its biggest games Super Mario Galaxy 2 later this month on May 23, 2010 so it has to have something huge in store for E3. According to the Official Nintendo Magazine, a world exclusive Nintendo game will be detailed in its June 16, 2010 issue.

The Heavy stands at 13” tall on a base and comes with a swappable head and alternate weapon. The entire figure is hand painted and is made of high quality poly-stone. The makers of the statue used the files from Team Fortress 2 to recreate the Heavy to his exact specifications.
