Binding of Isaac expansion coming this year

the binding of isaac expansion

The Binding of Isaac is a pretty lengthy game to begin with, seeing as how it has multiple endings and the game’s layout changes in every game. Still, some people may have already managed to see and do everything. Which is probably why Edmund McMillen is working on a mega expansion. While the expansion is more »

The Sims 3 Showtime inspired by The Sims Superstar

Like The Sims 3 Pets, it seems The Sims 3 Showtime is going to cause deja vu among players. That’s because it is the second expansion pack in a row for The Sims 3 that looks to earlier Sims expansion packs for inspiration on how to make the virtual world more entertaining for its virtual people and their human puppetmasters. This time, it’s all about making various sims famous

Superstar will add new careers, objects, interactions, locations, traits, lifetime wishes and the Starlight Shores area. Players will now be able to get their sims jobs in the entertainment business, specifically as an acrobat, DJ, magician or singer. Choose one of those positions and you can use SimPort to import your character into another player’s game or import someone else’s character into your game to make a cameo appearance. This expansion will also add social networking site features into The Sims 3

Upgrade your Sims’ bed and bath with The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff

Well, it’s been almost a whole month since EA announced that The Sims 3: Pets expansion pack. I bet you figured you’d be good in terms of Sims 3 updates for a while. I mean, after getting a big expansion where you get new actions, items and pets you’d figure EA would want to wait, give people a while to get tired of the new stuff before offering up newer stuff. Wrong. This brief lull now means it’s time for another stuff pack! A The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff pack, to be exact.

Like all stuff packs, the Master Suite Stuff is filled with furniture, clothing and hairstyles…

PS3 is first in line for Battlefield 3 DLC

DICE, the developers of Battlefield 3, kicked off this morning with some pleasant news for PS3 owners. The PS3 will be the first platform to get Battlefield 3 expansions. Those who plan on getting BF3 on PC or Xbox 360 need not fret because the exclusivity window is quite small. It’ll only last one week which is a lot shorter than the exclusivity window Call of Duty expansions get on Xbox 360.

Dead Nation returns with a new downloadable episode

Many, many PlayStation Network account holders decided to choose Dead Nation as one of their free games in the PSN Welcome Back program. Dead Nation took the all-too popular zombie gimmick in gaming and altered it slightly by playing as a twin-stick shooter. It’s a really fun game and we figured support for Dead Nation had ceased. We were wrong.

TIcket to Ride contest winners doubled

When it comes to generosity, Days of Wonder (DoW) is clearly in contention for most generous boardgame company of 2011. To celebrate their 10th year anniversary, DoW had a map submission contest for their deservedly popular Ticket to Ride game, with top prize of $10,000 for the best map.

Enhance your Sims’ backyard with Outdoor Living Stuff

If you like to enhance your Sims lives by giving them all the cool stuff you can’t afford, then you’ll be pleased to know that their virtual stash of items is going to increase. EA is working on yet another stuff pack expansion. The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff will allow you to make some pretty awesome backyards…

Ticket to Ride gets monstrous expansion

Days of Wonder announced on its blog that its hit Ticket to Ride game is getting a new expansion, Alvin & Dexter: A Ticket to Ride Monster Expansion. Alvin and Dexter are monsters, see, and players can move them around the map. Moving them around turns any location they occupy into a chaotic city, blocking the building of any routes into or out of the it, and cutting into victory points awarded at the end of the game. The models are cute, and put some wackiness on the board, as well as some new strategic options.

But if you want Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, you’ll have to be good until the week before Christmas since the PC expansion will be ready to download on December 18, 2010 and the PS3 and Xbox 360 expansion will be released a few days later on December 21, 2010…
