Creation Experience presents the 44th annual Star Trek Convention in Chicago

Attention all you Chicago Trekkies out there, this October 22-24th 2010, Creation Experience will be holding the 44th annual Star Trek Convention at the Westin O’Hare hotel in Rosemont IL. Like previous years, the Con will hold lots of panels, celebs, venders, and exclusive Star Trek merchandise. There will be panels for all the celebs plus special events like a live auction, several contests, a Leonard Nimoy panel of his latest photo seminar and a “Rat-Pack” concert with ST celebs Max Grodenchick, Vaughn Armstrong, Jeffery Combs, Casey Biggs and Armin Shimerman.

Wizard World 2010: William Shatner’s “Creation Experience” panel

William “The Shat” Shatner, known to many as Captain Kirk from the original Star Trek TV series, host of Priceline.com and Denny Crane from Boston Legal, graced us with his presence at Wizard World Comic Con help in Chicago, IL (US), August 19 through 22, 2010.

Shatner immediately started causing trouble when he tried to move the tables out of the way so he could be closer to us. “There is this green table between you and me and I don’t want it that way,” he said after shoving the tables, almost knocking over all the water pitchers. But, as we know, if The Shat wants it done, it gets done.

After that he spoke quite a lot about his new show…

I went to Wizard World Comic Con in Chicago this past weekend (August 19 through 22, 2010) and was able to see Brent Spiner, most famous for playing Data on Star Trek: Next Generation, at his Creation Experience panel on Saturday.

Microsoft to aid users unable to take advantage of “New Xbox Experience”

Microsoft is set to unveil its “New Xbox Experience” to eager 360 owners on November 19, 2008. This update is set to revamp the 360′s entire dashboard and introduce “avatars,” which are characters that players can customize to suit their own whims.

This “new experience” will come at a cost of 128 MB of hard drive space; while this may not be a problem for 360 owners who have purchased sufficient memory sources, there remains a large amount of individuals who have not. For these people, Microsoft has promised to come to their aid…
