Ninjatoes’ papercraft models, a nice, quiet New Years Day activity
Not quite origami, but with origami elements, or a card model, papercraft is something that falls between the two model making genres and allows people to create things and characters they love using paper, tape or glue and scissors. If you love video games, and are looking for a nice, quiet activity to do on New Years Day, then you should stop by Ninjatoes’ papercraft webpage and print out some patterns and instructions in advance.

Get your loved one a Legend of Zelda Bottled Fairy for Christmas
I’m not even a huge Zelda fan, but I know what I want, nay, need to get for Christmas. Etsy user YellerCrakka has created what may be the cutest, and most stylish, Legend of Zelda related piece of jewelry – the Bottled Fairly Necklace. This handmade accessory simple, yet elegant, and would make a perfect gift this holiday season for the Zelda fan in your life. Its the sort of accessory where only other fans of the series would be able understand its true significance.
For $15.00, you can get a handmade bottled fairy necklace of your own. The actual pendant portion is about the size of a nickel, as demonstrated by a picture on the product page, and features a tiny pink, purple, blue, gold, red, green, pink or teal colored Legend of Zelda fairy, complete with wings and glittery appearance, inside a sealed bottle.
I think the fact that YellerCrakka used a blue tinted glitter goo inside was a wonderful idea. As the artist states, this means that the charm may slowly shift back and forth inside the bottle, making it seem more “realistic”…
