NeoGeo station will be on PSN before Christmas

The PlayStation Store is going to be getting some classics this holiday season. SNK Playmore is creating the PlayStation Network NeoGeo Station. As you can guess, it means updated versions of NeoGeo games will be released for both platforms.

There will be a total of 10 games available when the NeoGeo Station launches on December 21, 2010…

Neo Geo games coming to the Wii Virtual Console

SNK Playmore, the company that brought us the Neo Geo, brings us Neo Geo games on the Wii Virtual Console. Standing alongside Nintendo’s home consoles and Hudson’s TurboGrafx-16, the Neo Geo will open up a whole new roster of classics to gobble up our Wii points.

Actually, we already knew the Neo Geo was coming to Virtual Console in Japan. In fact, three titles were supposed to be online overseas yesterday, September 11, 2007, but haven’t actually been released yet. Those titles were World Heroes, Magician Lord, and Fatal Fury

Fatal Fury, Cyberball and Labor Day deals on Xbox Live

Microsoft has just announced the next two downloadable titles for Xbox Live: updated classic fighter Fatal Fury Special and Cyberball 2072. Additionally, Microsoft will be halving prices on some older XBLA titles in honor of Labor Day.

The big M is also offering up a little Christmas in September for cheap gamers to get their arcade fix: Beginning at 5 PM (PDT) Saturday, September 1, 2007, and ending 4:59 PM Monday, September 3, 2007, Small Arms and Zuma will be available for 400 MS points ($5); while Gauntlet and Dig Dug will go for 200 MS points ($2.50). So you can save a few extra quarters for laundry.
