Mindjack’s multiplayer has a lot of player hacking

Mindjack is a game that virtually eliminates the line that separates single-player and multiplayer modes. You can be minding your own business while taking down mechs, when your game is suddenly invaded by hackers. This makes you drop whatever you thought you were doing to eliminate another threat posed by another player.

Hijack minds in 2011 with MindJack

MindJack now has a solid and stable launch date. The Square Enix multiplayer, third-person shooter will be in stores on January 18, 2011. Probably. Hopefully. I mean sure, it’s been delayed before, but that probably won’t happen again.

MindJack is a shooting game that can instantly go from a single player solo-game to an online multiplayer endeavor…

Square Enix’s Mindjack delayed until 2011

Mindjack, a first-person shooter that allows you to hack into other people’s brains, has been delayed until 2011.

The Square Enix project is being developed by Feelplus, which brought us Lost Odyssey and N3 II: Ninety-Nine Nights. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title was originally scheduled for an October 2010 release.

There’s no better way to get lost in the shuffle than to release a game during the holiday season, though. Call of Duty, Fable and Need for Speed are all getting new installments and those are just a few of the games battling for players’ attention this Fall.

Gamertell Review: Ju-On: The Grudge for Wii

Ju-On: The Grudge is faulty on many levels but I’m willing to forgive many of them because of the subtitle “Haunted House Simulator” thrown across the box.

Have you been to any of the haunted houses that spring up in wooded areas and old schoolhouses at this time of the year? Ju-On gave me more scares than they do, so I at least have to give it credit for that.
