Capcom Digital Collection puts 8 games on one Xbox 360 disc

There’s some news from Capcom today that could be good for Xbox 360 owners who enjoy downloadable games, but don’t have the necessary hard drive space or a good enough internet connection to actually acquire them. The company has decided to take eight of its well known, XBLA games and put them on an actual disc. If that sounds like a good idea to you, then the Capcom Digital Collection will cost you $39.99 in Spring 2012.

Capcom’s release list for the first half of 2009

Capcom recently released information about the six upcoming games for the first half of 2009 and it looks it will be a strong year.

Thew first release on the list of games is FLOCK! for the Xbox 360. FLOCK! puts you in charge of a UFO herding animals to your mothership. The game, since it will be an arcade game like Luxor and Feeding Frenzy, will feature controls that even the most casual gamer would be able to just pick up and play the game right off the bat. This is promising since quite a few games lately tend to have pretty awkward and confusing control schemes.

Sony giving away Qore Episode 7 for free

Sony is feeling a bit festive this time of year and wants to spread some holiday cheer to its customers. Today’s (December 4, 2008) PlayStation Store update will offer the latest edition to Sony’s monthly video magazine, Qore, for free. Qore is usually paid for either through either an annual subscription or by a per episode basis. Think of this as an early holiday present from our friends at SCEA.
