We’ve seen cross-promotional campaigns before in that one game helps promote another. For example, those who purchased a collector’s edition of AION got a code for a wings emote for their toons in Guild Wars. Similarly, Those who bought Dragon Age: Origins got a code for Blood Dragon Armor that Commander Shepard can wear in Mass Effect 2. However, one particular cross-promo is occurring between the unlikeliest of pairs, the upcoming MMO Rift and Team Fortress 2.

With many new updates on the way more new personal spaces are now available on PlayStation Home and that’s just the beginning. There are also free items at the mall for those who like to watch their budget and save up for cooler items coming soon to the PlayStation Home. But first let’s look at two new personal spaces available now at the mall.

This week members of the Sony Home community are treated to exclusive clips from Criss Angel’s upcoming show and an exclusive limited time free item at the theater now through Aug. 12, 2009. The free item is a coffin-style sofa for their personal spaces, also, while watching the clip players will be entered into a give away for one of two real-life coffins used in Criss Angel: Mindfreak and one of three Criss Angel: Burn DVDs and books. Only five winners will be selected and to participate register and log on to Sony Home and visit Auditorium 1 to watch the video. Players can find the Theater in Central Plaza or by selecting the space from the World Map.

There really isn’t anything new going on space wise on home but there are a few new items available at the shopping mall located in Central Plaza, check it out:
