Combat Arms exits the beta phase

Nexon’s free-to-play, MMOFPS (massive multiplayer online first person shooter) Combat Arms, has been officially released. That’s right, no more beta phases for you. From now on, the game should be absolutely perfect and ready for play. No more bugs or glitches! Just smooth battles against other players from around the country.

Quite a few additions have been made now that the game is no longer in beta. There are new weapons for players to wield, an extra game map to explore and fight in and a “Capture the Flag” game mode. Most importantly, the official launch of Combat Arms also means that the ranking system is working! Now players can see how they and their clan are doing, compared to other users.

Australians and New Zealanders can play Mabinogi

Nexon has opened up Mabinogi to more regions. As of June 20, 2008, people from Australia and New Zealand can now register and play the casual, life-sim MMORPG. Previously, Mabinogi was released in North America on March 27, 2008, after being available in Korea since June 2004 and both Japan and China since early 2005.

Wonderland Online now in open beta

The Internet MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) Wonderland Online just entered its open beta phase on May 11, 2008. The closed beta for the new game ended on the same day, but all of the closed beta players’ information was saved and carried over to the Aries server.

The open beta announcement also brings with it a few other interesting tidbits, aside from the whole “everyone can play” aspect. A new server, Taurus, is now open and now both daily and special occasion events will be held.
