Six of the most memorable video game-related kids meal premiums, ever
Sure, they aren’t nearly as fancy as $100+ statues but kids meal toys they are certainly more affordable.
While most are given through those wee servings known as a Happy Meal, Children’s Meal, Kids Meal or a similar moniker, some are purchasable as individual items at specific chains (assuming the owner or manager is nice enough to let you buy them a la carte).
Here’s a look at some of the most notable fast food premiums offered throughout the years…
PlayStation Store Update: The Return of Frogger, Holiday downloads (December 13 to 19, 2009)
This week’s featured download is Frogger Returns for $4.99 on the PS3. The old 2D classic has an updated 3D look and a new multiplayer mode. Just watch out for traffic, alligators and many new enemies trying to stop Frogger from getting home to his pad.
Next is an interesting puzzle game for the PSP called Kurulin Fusion featuring the music of Final Fantasy‘s legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu and many others.

Konami selling its iPhone, iPod Touch games for 99 cents each
Black Friday deals are always exciting to look at and fantasize about. Getting up and bearing the weather and crowds is a whole new can of worms though.
For now lets take the digital approach and grab some iPhone and iPod Touch games from the security of our own dwellings.
Konami is selling has lowered the price on all its games on the iTunes store to only $0.99. This means you can own the entire Konami collection on iTunes for under $10.

Upon the wake of the Metal Gear Touch’s announcement, it has also been uncovered that Konami intends to bring over other games to the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms as well.
As of right now, it looks like Konami’s touch-based games website will remain Japan-only but a press release confirms that the games will make way to North American and European markets.

Frogger comes to the iPod Touch and iPhone
Konami’s gaming classic Frogger is now available in the Apple App Store. The game has been tweaked to work on the iPhone and iPod Touch, while still preserving classic Frogger gameplay. The game is $9.99, and you’ll need the iPhone 2.0 software to play it.
Basically it is the same game as before, just with touch screen controls and updated graphics. You guide the frog from one side of the road, across the river, to the safety of the bank. If you aren’t careful – you’re roadkill.
