Get ready for a Mass Effect anime

You loved playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, so EA and Funimation are betting you’ll like watching it too. The two entertainment powerhouses are working with T.O Entertainment to put together a Mass Effect anime. Well, techincally an animated, direct to video movie. So I guess that would make it a Mass Effect OVA (original video animation).

BioWare’s Dragon Age to become FUNimation anime film

=Role-playing games are a natural source for movie material with their long, expansive stories and unique characters. As such, it shouldn’t be a surprise that someone has tapped BioWare’s Dragon Age franchise for anime film treatment.

FUNimation Entertainment, the company that made Dragon Ball a household name among anime properties in the United States, will begin a Dragon Age anime feature in May 2010, slated for a 2011 home video release.

Xbox Live Marketplace video updates for June 2007

According to Microsoft’s press release, Xbox Live service has “…7,000 pieces of gaming and entertainment content and counting” with content currently provided by 15 entertainment partners including MTV, Comedy Central and VH1 (which all happen to be owned by Viacom). Xbox Live is a download service available to Xbox and Xbox 360 game system owners. more »
