CES 2012: A photo tour of Razer’s booth

Razor booth

Razer made a bit of a splash at CES 2012 when it unveiled the Fiona tablet. If the Razer Blade wasn’t enough to make you say “wow”, the Fiona tablet certainly should. The tablet was protected under some glass, so I wasn’t able to actually touch it. I did managed to walk around the booth more »

Gallery first-person shooter Overkill is now free for Android devices

Craneballs Studios recently released its game Overkill in the Android Market. It’s free, but does contain some app suggestions and microtransactions to help move things along quickly. Overkill is a first-person shooter, but you won’t be moving around like a mobile version of Call of Duty. Overkill is a gallery shooter than only puts you in control of the gun.

Capcom brings Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D to 3DS

Capcom made a couple game announcements for the 3DS late last night. The one we’re going to focus on right now is Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. The Mercenaries has become a staple in recent Resident Evil games. You’re thrown into an area taken from the main story and forced to stay alive as various enemies attack. We will finally be able to take this mode on the go.

Check out screenshots of 3DS games in our photo gallery

The amount of games and media coming out today following the release date announcement of the Nintendo 3DS is staggering. We’ve been working to get as many screenshots up from as many games as possible. You’re not going to see the 3D effect in these screenshots, but the much improved graphics the 3DS offers is obvious.

Resistance 3 screens spill onto the web

Insomniac Games announced Resistance 3 last month at Gamescom. It also announced Ratchet and Clank All 4 One. But Insomniac didn’t have any information about Resistance 3 at that time. The developer only released a live action trailer that provides fertile ground for speculation. While we wait for Insomniac to provide more details, a user on Flickr that goes by the handle 1337guyzorz2, has uploaded with appears to be screenshots and concept art from Resistance 3.

Super Street Fighter IV is getting a new wardrobe

Two costume stories in one day? I guess that’s what happens when October starts to rear its head. Earlier we told you about Dead Rising 2′s Paradise Packs that are scheduled to be released in early October. Capcom just let us know Super Street Fighter IV characters will also be getting new costumes over the next few months.

BioShock Infinite gameplay video and images released

BioShock Infinite is getting a huge amount of attention for a game that won’t be out until 2012. Today (September 21, 2010) the previously restricted gameplay video of BioShock Infinite was released on Xbox Live. Go to the video section Xbox Live Marketplace to download the video for free. It will take up almost 500MB of hard drive space. Irrational Games also provided a few new screenshots from the game straight from the video.

Final Fantasy VII Larger-than-Life iPhone app costs $6

If you really love Final Fantasy VII, you can show it on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch for $5.99. Square Enix has released a Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Larger-than-Life gallery app filled with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete art to browse through. Or set as a background for the app’s calendar and clock…

Gallery: Earthworm Jim HD

Earthworm Jim HD is a remake of the original game with a few added features. This time around you can play Earthworm Jim HD with three other friends cooperatively. Basically everyone has their own different colored Jim and you shoot anything that moves. Sounds fun enough to me. Earthworm Jim HD also has new levels and comes bundled with that little fuzzy feeling in every download.

Gallery: Possible MotorStorm 3 screens

The city of San Francisco is the stage in which these shots are taken. However these are not beautiful coastal images we would expect to see from San Francisco. The city is falling apart, people are running in the streets and fires are breaking out all over. This radical change of scenery reminds us of Split/Second. If Sony and Evolution studios are using Split/Second as a reference point, the concept of shortcuts and environmental hazards are bound to be drastically different from other MotorStorm titles.
