Gamestop’s Game Days 2010 sale is on (updated)
It’s Game Days time again! Every year, right around spring, GameStop announced the Game Days sale and discounts a pretty decent selection of video games and accessories. And, it just happens to be the right season.
Like previous years, there are quite a few games on sale for the DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360. Unlike previous years, there’s a console offer accompanying the main sale! GameStop is selling the $299.99 Xbox 360 Elite bundle with Forza Motorsport 3 and Halo 3: ODST and including a $50 GameStop gift card with it if you buy during Game Days. Not a bad incentive.
The sale is going on both in stores and at the GameStop website, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for at your local GameStop, turn to the internet.
Let’s go through this year’s game sales by platform. This year, instead of going in alphabetical order, I’m going to list the best prospects first and then the games that really aren’t that good. Keep an eye out for Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (DS) for $14.99, Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP) for $19.99, Persona 4 (PS2) for $24.99, Rune Factory Frontier (Wii) for $19.99 and Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360) for $19.99…
GameStop’s Game Days sale begins, let’s see the bargains
It’s April 5, 2009, and that means that GameStop’s month long, Game Days ’09 sale has begun. New games and accessories for all systems are discounted and ready to go home with you. As usual, the sale is going on both in-stores and online, so you should have no trouble finding your desired item.
Also, GameStop is still continuing to try and clear out the UMD movies and videos, and there’s a substantial selection of titles available for $4.99 and $9.99 – just like last year. Keep an eye open though, some are cheaper or more expensive than that.
If you’re looking for a quick list of everything available, here’s what to expect. For your convenience, everything has been organized in alphabetical order, and the UMDs have been sorted by price…
Get ready for GameStop’s Game Days
With the economy being what it is, and people cutting back just in case the worst happens to them or their families, buying new games has become a bit of a luxury. Thankfully, it’s that special time of year. The time when GameStop decides to do a clearing out of sorts. That’s right – it’s Game Days time. Technically, April 5, 2009 marks the beginning of Game Days, but it’s best to be prepared and ready for the sale.
GameStop even has a special Game Days section up on its website, with sections devoted to DS, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, UMD, PC games and accessories that will be on sale. At the moment, clicking on one of the sections will take you to a list of regularly priced games and accessories. If the website listing is accurate, then some phenomenal games are going to be on sale. This year the sales will be online and in-store, so perhaps on April 5 check out the website and see if the games shown there now are reduced…
Hitting the Game Days sale at GameStop
As everyone may (or may not) know, GameStop began its annual Game Days sale on June 2, 2008. It’s a pretty big deal, as quite a few games, UMD movies and accessories are drastically reduced for a limited time in stores and online. All of the new games and accessories are 50% off, while all applicable UMD movies are reduced to $4.99. The best part is, if you use the coupon uploaded at Cheap Ass Gamer, you can get an extra 10% off the sale items. You’ll probably want to register for its forums and get the official image, as the copy of it above has been shrunk a bit.
