Target is opening at 4 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2010, to begin its Black Friday 2010 Doorbuster sale.

Note that you also earn a $10 Target Gift Card when you spend $100 or more in the store (one per person) from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. The best looking bargain is a PSP bundle (see below).

Deal of the Day: Buy Mass Effect 2, get Mass Effect free at Amazon

Xbox 360 RPG lovers, a deal Amazon is running this week is for you. Want to get Mass Effect 2 but haven’t played through the first game yet? The choices you make in the first game carry over to the sequel, so you want to play the first one. Amazon has a deal through April 10, 2010 in which you get Mass Effect for free if you purchase Mass Effect 2.

Xbox 360 Elite with Forza and ODST $299 on Amazon

Holy crap, Batman – this is the deal of the month, for sure. Starting next week, Amazon will be offering an Elite Xbox 360 with two absolutely stellar games – hardcore racer Forza 3 and highly acclaimed FPS Halo: ODST. The price? A cool $299. You can pre-order now for the bundle’s March 9, 2010 launch.

GameStop stock drop blamed on Walmart’s discounted game prices

The Dallas Morning News reports that GameStop’s stock dropped substantially Wednesday (December 2, 2009) after Walmart announced decent discounts on some bestselling games and $50 gift cards for Nintendo Wii buyers.

GameStop stock dropped 8.3 percent after to close at $21.87 after Walmart revealed discounts on games including Madden 2010 and Left 4 Dead 2, knocking their price down to $50. The DMN quotes Arvind Bhatia an analyst at Dallas’ Sterne Agee & Leach, saying GameStop is probably not worried.

GameQuest Direct’s Cyber Monday (and Holiday) 2009 sale

GameQuest Direct has a whole passel of deals from as part of its Cyber Monday sale (that seems to extend to December 15, 2009). All these deals require coupon codes, as GQD will not list a game at lower than MSRP as part of their deal with vendors. Also, as they are a global distributor, you may receive a Canadian version of a game which will be identical to a US release but come with an extra instruction manual in French. Hey, it’s like a collector’s item, eh!

Best Buy offering buy one 360 game, get one half off

Best Buy online shoppers who purchase one Xbox 360 game from a qualifying list of titles can get a second one of equal or lesser value at half price on titles priced $79.99 or less. To sweeten the deal, Best Buy will also ship both titles for free.

This isn’t one of those sales filled with games you would never actually buy, either.

Titles on the list include Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto IV and pre-orders for Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2.
