Deathsmiles IIX is an Xbox 360 Games on Demand exclusive
A big first is coming up soon, as the Xbox 360′s Games on Demand service is going to be host to its first import game. Shmup fans will be pleased to know that the title in question is Cave’s Deathsmiles IIX, or Deathsmiles 2X if you prefer, the sequel to Cave’s Deathsmiles. Unfortunately, Deathsmiles IIX isn’t getting an English, retail release from Aksys like Deathsmiles did. If you want Deathsmiles IIX, you’re going to have to download it and deal with Japanese text.
Thankfully, text isn’t a big deal when it comes to bullet hell shoot’em ups (Or in this case, cute’em up?) like Deathsmiles IIX…
Play Aliens vs Predator on demand this week, Bayonetta next
The Xbox Live Games on Demand service is getting a few new options this month thanks to Sega. It’s bringing Aliens vs. Predator and Bayonetta to the service. So if you haven’t already gotten either of these games for your Xbox 360 and that drive or walk to your local GameStop is too daunting for you, you can just download them.

Fable II is still free on Xbox Live
The price of Fable II on the Xbox Live Marketplace dropped from $19.99 to free yesterday (October 15, 2010). We figured Microsoft would discover this and immediately revert the game back to its original price. Now several hours later, Fable II is still free. If you don’t have this game, cue it up on your Xbox 360 or PC before it gets pulled down.

Latest Xbox Live update features games on demand, Netflix upgrades
Several much-awaited updates to Microsoft’s Xbox Live go into effect today (August 11, 2009). The Games on Demand service allows for the purchase of full Xbox 360 games (either by credit card or with Microsoft Points) from the Xbox Live Marketplace and those titles will be available starting August 13, 2009. More titles will be added every Tuesday.
Don’t worry about space issues, as your Xbox Live account tracks your purchase history. So if you have to delete a game, you can re-download it later and not have to pay for it again.
Netflix is mixing in some upgrades as well…
