Zenonia 3 is free for Android users

One way to beat summer heat is to find a place with fantastic air conditioning and stake your claim on a spot there. But just sitting and enjoying the cold could get boring. If you own an Android device, that won’t be a problem for you, since Gamevil has just released the action RPG Zenonia 3 on the Android Market and it won’t cost you anything to play it.

Yes, even though both Zenonia and Zenonia 2 cost real money when they were first released, Zenonia 3 isn’t like that…

Gamevil planning 6 Xperia Play games

Depending on where you live, you may already have access to Sony Ericsson’s new Xperia Play phone. (It’s still temporarily MIA in North America though!) Rest assured that if you pick it up, you’ll be covered for games. A number of prominent developers and publishers have come forward with lineups for the new smartphone, and Gamevil is one of them. It has already commited to bringing six games to the device, with some already available…

Mobage goes worldwide

You better start paying attention when you hear news about DeNA Mobage-town games. Mobage is about to become a global thing. Now that DeNA’s acquired ngmoco and it’s Plus +, it’s going to bring Mobage to people around the world. It’s Mobage Smartphone SDK with ngCore is already in private beta.

Odds are, it’s going to be huge. DeNA had already discussed plans to quadruple its profits, and taking Mobage worldwide is a quick way to do it…

Gamevil’s Illusia is no illusion

Gamevil’s got another iOS action RPG for you, and it looks a little familiar. It’s Illusia, and it looks a little like an offline, portable version of MapleStory. You create a character, set it up in one of the magician or fighter classes, then send him or her off to the tower of Illusia created by Deathwing to defeat baddies. If you don’t, Deathwing could take over Aztaran…

Gamertell Review: Zenonia for Nintendo DSi

Zenonia is now available as a DSiWare download, as well as for Android and PSP. The DSi version mostly handles the issues the game had with its iPhone release but introduces a couple of its own. I’ll get to all of that in a minute. First, some Regret…

Zenonia becomes a PSN mini this week

Gamevil’s quest to bring Zenonia to everyone continues! The iPhone game recently made its DSiWare debut, and not it’s appearing as a download for two more systems, the PSP and PS3. Yes, it’s going to be a PlayStation Store mini! And if that weren’t enough good news for anyone who missed out on this action-RPG back when it was an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad exclusive, it’ll be part of tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update.

Zenonia follows the adventures of a young man named Regret…

Zenonia’s headed to the DSi

Good news DSi owners, it looks like Gamevil USA is going to bringing you Zenonia. The news hasn’t been officially announced yet, but Siliconera spotted Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) rating for Zenonia for the DSi. While that rating would only apply to an Australian release of Zenonia, the publisher mentioned in it is Gamevil USA. Gamevil USA was responsible for bringing Zenonia to the iPhone, iPod Touch, Droid and Zeebo in North America.

Zenonia follows the story of Regret, who’s trying to avenge his adoptive father’s death and save the world from evil. Nothing revolutionary, I know, but the selling point of Zenonia is it’s clever script, multiple classes, action-RPG gameplay and the fact that events can be altered based on choices you make.

Let’s watch the trailer for the iPod Touch/iPhone release…

Ten games I most want to play on the iPad (Part 2)

Apple only last week started accepting iPad optimized app submissions, so who knows if our favorite games will be ready to go by April 3rd? Of course, that doesn’t prevent us from getting our hopes up. Last week, I offered a list of five games I’ve played on the iPhone that I’m now excited about playing on the iPad. In this article, I’ll list the five I’ve not yet played but certainly will when (if) an iPad version is made available.

Top 10 iPhone, iPod Touch games every gamer should try

In lieu of digging through most of garbage apps that make up the App Store landfill (I kid, I kid) this week, I decided it would be better to spend my time offering suggestions of gaming apps you’d actually want to try.

Sure, some of these apps are the obvious mentions and there definitely are more than just these ten games that make up the rare good gaming app pile but I didn’t want you kiddies to overdose on too much of a good thing.

Staying true to the App Store Update, I have included iTunes links to each game, as well as big pretty pictures.

Enough ranting however, here’s what you should be downloading:
