Gamook offers a little more info, reassurance
In response to my Gamook post from last month (February 14, 2008), one of the company reps responded to my post and offered a bit more information about how to monitor revenue.
Gamook creates (or purchases) Flash-based games that webmasters embed into their sites. The site then accrues earnings based on how often a game is played and the the advertising placed in and around the games. The rep previously indicated that an affiliate earns 30% of the ad revenue generated by each game.

Gamook trying to get its games on a few celebrity fan sites
Besides writing game reviews and news, I’ve also dabbled in quite a bit of web design (what nerd/geek hasn’t). Many years ago, I created a celebrity web site (stop laughing), thinking I could eventually sell it as the official fan club site. Well, it’s been about 10 years since I made the site and still, no income from it. Every once in a while, however, I get a “business opportunity” that promises I’ll make some money with my site using their product.
