The last time we talked about Glu Mobile, we were covering its Infinity Blade clone called Blood & Glory. It’s a fun game, but relies way too much on in-app purchases that are pretty expensive. Today Glu has returned with its latest Android game called Frontline Commando. Keeping with the Glu tradition, Frontline Commando is free. The catch is you have to purchase Glu Credits to get the best gear quickly.

We found out months ago Infinity Blade was not meant for Android. Epic Games felt Android fragmentation was the main reason why Infinity Blade didn’t make it to the platform. Maybe after Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has taken hold of the majority of devices, Epic will view the platform differently. Until then, Android device users will have to settle for Blood & Glory instead.
