Batman: Arkham City slated for Fall 2011 release

Arkham has moved. That was the tagline for the upcoming sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum when it was revealed at the VGA’s. The teaser trailer suggested Arkham Asylum would expand into Gotham City, but we didn’t know any detail beyond that until now. Today (August 5, 2010), Warner Brothers Interactive revealed Batman: Arkham City will be coming out in Fall 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Gamertell Review: Lego Batman: Gotham City Games for iPhone, iPod Touch

Put all expectations out of your mind right now that this is anything like the console games. It is not an action, peg gathering multiplayer game.

Gamertell Review: Birds of Prey The Complete Series on DVD

Title: Birds of Prey: The Complete SeriesPrice: $29.95Release Date: July 15, 2008Publisher: Warner Bros. TelevisionRating: Not RatedPros: The transfer is perfect and the addition of the entire web series, Gotham Girls, is terrific. A bit more palatable than when it originally aired thanks to Smallville.Cons: The series remains as fault-filed as ever with some weak performances and some cheesy special effects.Overall Score: One thumb up, one thumb sideways; 80/100; B-; * * * out of five.

With the recent resurgence of Bat-Mania thanks to the gritty and good Dark Knight movie, it’s a little surprising that Birds of Prey DVD release didn’t get a little more attention. Sure, the series didn’t quite make a full season but the relation to the Caped Crusader is unmistakable.
