Epic wants casual gamers to embrace Gears of War 2, too
When the original Gears of War saw release on Microsoft’s fledgling Xbox 360, gamers were quick to praise its fast action and stellar graphics. Positive comments such at these from players, along with glowing reviews from critics, enabled Gears of War to become one of the 360’s top-selling games and earned it a notable place in Microsoft’s franchise arsenal alongside Halo.
Cliff Bleszinski, design director for Epic Games, the company responsible for Gears of War, wants to make sure that casual gamers are able to experience the upcoming sequel. One feature that he emphasized in hopes of making this happen is the ability to experience the story mode alongside another player.
