10 more PS3 games become Greatest Hits
PS3 owners who live in North America will soon be able to pick up some phenomenal games at a budget price. Sony announced today on the PlayStation.Blog that it has added 10 games to its Greatest Hits collection. Yup, 10! They’ll all be $29.99 from now on, instead of $49.99 or $59.99. The catch is that they’re all really great games, so you might already own them.

Sony’s PSP Greatest Hits list grows by ten
A complaint often levied against Sony’s Playstation Portable is that there are not enough marquee games for the system. Those who call themselves proud PSP owners, however, would respond by noting that the popular games that are on the platform fail to receive proper attention.
In what perhaps could be seen as an attempt to draw that necessary attention, Sony has recently announced that its Greatest Hits library will see 10 new games added to the list. Games that are branded as Greatest Hits receive a special packaging and a reduced price of $20
Repricing of select Greatest Hits PS3 games starts this week
At E3 2008 Jack Trenton announced a line up of Playstation 3 titles that would be getting special treatment and goes into effect this week (July 28, 2008). Select titles have been relaunched at lower price points across the United States with nine titles now costing $29.99 each.
Most of these games are actually very good and well worth their price. Warhawk is even supposed to get trophy support in the future. In case you forget which games have been discounted, Sony has placed them in distinctly colored cases. They have red borders around them so they stand out really well.
