XSEED has announced that there is going to be both standard and limited editions of its forthcoming PSP game, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. As you can guess, the standard edition of Lunar: Silver Star Harmony will only include the game and cost $29.99. The limited edition will cost $39.99 and include a few extras. Both versions will be out in 2010 and, if you go by Amazon, they’ll be out February 2, 2010.

The highlight of the Lunar: Silver Star Harmony limited edition is the soundtrack. The official press release doesn’t state if it’ll be a full soundtrack, but any soundtrack is better than no soundtrack. Besides, you’ve probably lost the soundtrack that came with the PlayStation edition of Lunar: Silver Star Story. It also comes with 13 bromide trading cards featuring the female stars of Lunar in various outfits and fanservice poses.

It could be a little early to place a preorder now…

XSEED is hoping to tap an already existing fanbase for one of their upcoming game releases. Ragnarok DS, a portable adaptation of the massive multiplayer online RPG Ragnarok Online, is going to be coming out February 16, 2010, and XSEED wants Ragnarok Online players to buy it. XSEED is offering lots of in-game item codes for Ragnarok Online with Ragnarok DS. If you just purchase Ragnarok DS, you get codes for the Ragnarok Online intelligence increasing Shaman Earring, HP and SP recovery boosting Shaman Ring and attack resistance boosting Shaman Hair Decoration. If you go a step further and preorder Ragnarok DS, say at Amazon, you get four extra Ragnarok Online in-game items. You get an experience and damage boosting Audumra’s Benefit, a weapon boosting Bijofnil’s Wing Decoration, an attack speed boosting Hermode Cap and a damage increasing Odin Mask.

Aside from info on what the items do, there’s no further explanation about them. They could be one-time use items, or they could be actual Ragnarok Online in-game equipment…

Great news for Sony Home addicts like myself. According to an article on Pocket Lint, Sony Japan announced that more companies will be creating content for the Playstation Home.

Companies currently on Home include Capcom, Incognito, Sony Computer Entertainment (of course) and Red Bull who all have either an in-Home world or products for sale in the Home mall.
